Bob Russell Retreat – Refreshing!

I am refreshed! I enjoyed spending time with seven ministers and I loved being with Bob Russell. Amazing! He is  so full of Christ and has so much knowledge and wisdom – Bob is a man with rock solid integrity and genuine humility.  He lavished us with gifts. He made us feel special – it was almost too much. Being with Bob Russell at the lodge was more than enough – His excellent teaching, the Q & A sessions, the dialogue and discussion filled me up. But there was more – Bob ate every meal with us. We even ate together in Bob and Judy’s home. We toured Southeast, shopped free at their bookstore with a $50 gift certificate, we went bowling for dollars (I won $12), Jack Hillrick – the president of  Louisville Slugger Bat Factory – gave us a rare tour that included the bat vault and his board room where we sit around his big boardroom table and discussed leadership principles. Jack gave us a Louisville Slugger with our name engraved and then Bob took us to Ruth’s Chris!

The entire retreat was free! That’s why I said “It was almost too much” but Bob said he wanted to make us feel special. Wow! I knew it would be good but it exceeded all my expectations – it was wonderful! Refreshing! A once and a lifetime week with Bob Russell.

Thank you Lord!
